PAUL BEHNKEN grew up sailing on the waters of Florida and the Bahamas. He eventually made his way to California where he acquired the 30′ gaff cutter he sailed to Maine and still makes his home on during the warmer months. Paul is a veteran of many offshore passages and deliveries as well as a transatlantic voyage where he made good use of his sextant. Formerly a research chemist and now a boatbuilder in Brooklin, he brings a combination of technical expertise flavored with practical experience.
