JIM TOLPIN is a woodworker and author who makes his home in Port Townsend, Washington. For more than 30 years, Jim has worked at woodworking for a living, and has written a dozen books on the subject. Jim has been a frequent contributor to both Fine Woodworking and Fine Homebuilding magazines. He is also a faculty member of the Port Townsend School of Woodworking.
